Soul Screamers #2

I bought this book with my own money.
SUMMARY:
When Kaylee Cavanaugh screams, someone dies.
So when teen pop star Eden croaks onstage and Kaylee doesn’t wail, she knows something is dead wrong. She can’t cry for someone who has no soul.
The last thing Kaylee needs right now is to be skipping school, breaking her dad’s ironclad curfew and putting her too-hot-to-be-real boyfriend’s loyalty to the test. But starry-eyed teens are trading their souls: a flickering lifetime of fame and fortune in exchange for eternity in the Netherworld—a consequence they can’t possibly understand.
Kaylee can’t let that happen, even if trying to save their souls means putting her own at risk...
REVIEW:
This book brings a whole new meaning to selling your soul to the devil in order to gain something grand. The only difference is that Kaylee and Nash have to go up against rogue reapers yet again and a hellion who has a taste for young teenage souls. that are being traded for their chance to shine in the spotlight of fame.
This was a pretty fast paced book but it is kind of expected given the time frame they were handed along with such a severe sitaution. How are you suppose to find the hellion Someone sold their soul to, and negotiate the out clause in just a week's time? What I think I liked most about this book though was the fact that even though the eternal soul rested on the shoulders of two teenager's, they were still treated like teenager's keeping a secret from one of their parent's. Like any dad should act when his daughter sneeks out and cannot be found, Kaylee's dad even threatends to go to the police if she hasn't contacted him by a certain time, because he is kept in the dark she also gets a month's worth of grounding.
