HUSH, HUSH by BECCA FITZPATRICK

SUMMARY:
For Nora Grey, romance was not part of the plan. She's never been particularly attracted to the boys at her school, no matter how much her best friend, Vee, pushes them at her...until Patch comes along.
With his easy smile and eyes that seem to see inside her, Nora is drawn to him against her better judgment, but after a series of terrifying encounters, Nora's not sure whom to trust. Patch seems to be everywhere she is, and to know more about her than her closest friends. She can't decide whether she should fall into his arms or run and hide. And when she tries to seek some answers, she finds herself near a truth that is far more unsettling than anything Patch makes her feel.
For Nora is right in the middle of an ancient battle between the immortal and those that have fallen - and when it comes to choosing sides, the wrong choice will cost her life.

REVIEWS:
This book was gifted to me through RAK.

I absolutely freaking love this book and recommend it to everyone!  I love, love, loved it!

I loved the character of Nora.  As the heroin of the novel, she had a lot of fight in her and I really enjoyed that.  She didn't take people's crap and she fought back and did her best to protect herself.  I loved her.

And Patch.  Oh jeesh, Patch.  If I had to describe him using only one word, that word would be 'Yum'.  He was dark, mysterious, dangerous, wild, and sexy.  He was everything I'd want my fallen angel to be.

The book was filled with a lot of mystery, romance, and action.  This may possibly be my new favorite series.

MEMORABLE QUOTES:
"What good is a body if I can't have you?"

RATING:
5 MOONS.
ABSOLUTELY LOVED IT!

This book was borrowed from a friend.

Move over werewolves and vampires, a new player is entering the popularity fields and it's name is fallen, as in the angel kind.

While the love triangle that is Bella-Edward-Jacob is coming to a finale, the reign of Patch and Nora is rising up to claim the crown.

This book has been on my to read list for quite some time, I have seen it in wal-mart countless of shopping trips and have always seemed to find a book that I wanted more.  This hasn't been at the top of my list because as I have said before, most young adult books I had seen were all about the high school angst that never really seems to catch or keep my interest.

I just could not seem to put Hush, Hush down however, It is one of those books that you say to yourself. " Ok, just one more chapter then I will go to bed" Or clean up, or some other odd little chore." And before you know it you have read seven chapters and there is still no need to put it down.

It was the attitudes behind the characters that kept a firm grasp on my attention. It was the winding road that led me down the stories path and secret after secret expertly delivered that kept me coming back for more.
MEMORABLE QUOTES:
RATING:
4.5 MOONS.
HIGHLY RECOMMEND IT!

  1. I've been putting off this one for so long. I'm almost afraid to read it due to all the mixed reviews about it. It seems to be a love or hate kind of book. I'll have to get to it soon. Great reviews!

  2. @Giselle: Honestly, I think it could be a love or hate book too. Like Twilight, everyone who loved it was nuts over it and those that didn't like it absolutely hated it. It's just one of "those" books. But like I said, I recommend that everyone at least give it a chance. I absolutely loved it and I doubt that you will dislike it. So go pick it up! =}
