Q. What book that hasn't been turned into a movie (yet) would you most like to see make it to the big screen, and who would you like cast as your favorite character?
Definitely
Miss Peregrine's Home For Peculiar Children by Ransom Riggs. But I have not one idea of who I would pick to portray the characters. That book would be awesome as a movie though, and I believe I actually heard that there is talk of a movie being made. So yay!
This was a hard choice for me. Because there are alot of books I would love to see up on the big screen, the only problem is that the books I am thinking of are probably to long. So, the one that first came to mind was more a series of books instead of just one. That series being The Iron Fey series by Julie Kagawa. It might just be because I just finished the latest addition and am on a serious Puck craze but who knows. As for charachters, I have no clue. I am horrid with names.
New follower, hopping through. I haven't read either of these books, but Miss Peregrine's is on my to-read list. Love your layout by the way :)

I had a hard time with this question. Initially I couldn't think of a book with the right actors. Now, I think I'd like to see Beth Revis' book "Across the Universe" as a movie.

Hi! I just wanted to say I'm a new follower and I'm looking forward to future posts!
ReplyDeleteOooh I would love to see Iron Fey made into a series of movies. I'd probably end up arrested though for trying to steal Grim... I haven't really heard of Miss Peregrine's Home For Peculiar Children though! If it is indeed being made into a movie though I'll have to read the book quickly before it comes out :)
ReplyDeleteRywn
Miss Peregrine would be an amazing movie! I really hope the option doesn't fall through because the story and characters are so intriguing and unique.

Hey Jess and Darcus - great to meet you both here at Starcrossed. :) Congratulations on being one of this week's FF features!
ReplyDeleteMiss Peregrine's Home for Peculiar Children and The Iron Fey series both look amazing from what I've seen and heard. Unfortunately I haven't had the chance to read them yet, but I can imagine that they would translate well to the big (or small) screen.

Congrats on the feature. Good picks. I had a hard time choosing. I don't usually like what Hollywood does to the book. They might be able to pull off Miss Peregrine's though.

Miss Peregrine was optioned for a movie before the book was even released and I would love to see that as a film. It would be great! And The Iron Fey I think would serve better as a TV series, 'cus it needs more time to explore . . .
